Sensex, Nifty trade
lower on Monday
The Sensex is
down 254 points at 34,122.69, while the Nifty is lower 57.35 points at 10,262.70
on negative global cues. Shares of Vedanta, Hindaloc, Zee Entertainment, Tata
Steel, Adani Ports were early losers on the NSE, while Yes bank, HPCL, Gail,
Indian Oil Coprn and Coal India were gainers. Except Nifty PSU bank, all the
sectoral indices of NSE were in red.
Shares
of Oil marketing companies are expected to be focus today as crude prices have
softened slightly, along with increase in petrol and diesel prices as well.
