fall on rising crude prices
Sensex,
Nifty fell sharply in the week gone by on declining rupee and rising crude oil
prices. Weak global signals also impacted sentiment. Stocks registered declines
in three out of four trading session in the shortened trading week on account
of holidays.
Both
the Sensex and the Nifty dropped below the crucial 35,000 and 11,000 marks,
respectively. The indices edged lower for fifth week consecutive week.
