Sensex, Nifty trade flat
Share benchmarks opened on flat note on Monday’s session amid mixed global clues. The BSE Sensex traded at little changed at 34,684 down 49 points and the Nifty50 Index traded at 10,446, down 26 points. Dr. Reddy’s, Tech Mahindra, Indiabulls were among major gainers, while HPCL, GAIL, Hindustan Unilver were maor losers.
Brent crude oil had risen or 1.22 percent, to 81.41 a barrel, on track for its biggest daily gain since October 9, while the Indian rupee slipped by 24 paise at 73.80 per US dollar.
